Digipak & Magazine Advert

This is the construction of the sad robot logo and star motif. As a group we have put forward ideas to come up with a logo to resemble sad robot and use in our branding. we used the name sad robot as a way of creating a bridge between the logo and band making it more iconic and reflective to the band as possible.

The Logo
We started off by drawing some sketches, then chose one to put forward.
This was the sketch we chose, an image of a robot looking frightened and sad. this was the message we wanted to give out, this also relates to the name of the band.

We just wanted to focus on the face of the robot and possibly the top of the shoulders and top chest.

"This sketch was scanned in to my laptop and i imported the image to Photoshop CS6. i began using the pen tool to mark the outlines of the sketch ready to be coloured and textured. This makes the sketch look more accurate and professional. " - Stephen

These are the two finished products, the only difference being the top siren light.
